Crafting singular wines from our hillside vineyards since 1998 — where every bottle carries the warmth of the valley and the patience of the land.
Cedar Knoll Vineyard began as a simple conviction: that the steep, sun-drenched slopes along Hagen Road held something extraordinary. What we discovered was a terroir unlike any other in the valley — well-drained volcanic soils, morning fog rolling through the gap, and afternoon warmth that lingers just long enough to coax depth and complexity into every cluster.
Three decades later, those same hills produce wines that speak of place with unmistakable clarity. Our small-lot approach means we hand-select every harvest, ferment in batches no larger than twenty cases, and age each cuvée in French oak until it finds its own voice.
Every grape comes from our own hillside vineyards, farmed by hand.
We never rush fermentation or aging — the wine decides when it's ready.
Three generations tending the same land with the same care.
Each bottle is a portrait of a specific hillside, a particular year, and the decisions we made to let the fruit speak for itself.
Our estate Cabernet carries dark cherry, blackberry, and a whisper of cedar — the kind of wine that opens slowly across an evening and rewards patience with layer after layer.
Grown on our coolest-facing slope, this Pinot is all about balance — red currant, dried rose, and a silky tannin structure that feels like worn velvet on the palate.
Fermented in barrel with native yeasts, our Chardonnay shows toasted almond, white peach, and a bright acid line that makes it as food-friendly as it is compelling on its own.

Perched on a southern-facing slope between the Vaca and Mayacama mountains, our 27 acres benefit from a microclimate that gives our grapes a long, even ripening season.
Our oldest blocks sit on terraced slopes at 400 feet elevation, producing small berries with concentrated flavor and firm, structured tannins.
Evening fog crests the ridge and settles into the vineyard, cooling the grapes overnight and preserving the bright acidity that defines our style.
Well-drained Jemison gravelly loam over ancient volcanic bedrock forces roots deep, drawing minerals that give our wines their distinctive backbone.
